An Odd Democratic? Ad

I recently saw this ad as part of Democratic event.

It seems to me that the Democrats could at least find six examples of inspiring DEMOCRATS for their events.

Three of those pictured seem to lean more Republican then Democrat.
Harriet Tubman - I don't see her attending any Dem event
Martin Luther King Jr. - arguably a Republican
Frederick Douglass - I am a Republican, a black, dyed in the wool Republican, and I never intend to belong to any other party than the party of freedom and progress

Just a thought.
I am a black, died-in-the-wool Republican, and I never intend to belong to any other party than the party of freedom and progress.
