Unions Standing In for Dem Legislators

I've been a bit skeptical about the effectiveness of Milwaukee area Assembly Democrats. In the last budget they offered no, none, nada, zip amendments. They followed the lead of Peter Barca and did nothing for those they campaigned to fight for.

On today's "Upfront with Mike Gousha" he interviewed Republican Assemblyman Dale Kooyenga about the prospect of eliminating the income tax in the state. Dale offered a honest common sense informed approach to the idea.

For the "rebuttal" Mike either couldn't find an informed Democrat Assembly person or the union couldn't get the talking points out quick enough as Robert Kraig of Citizen Action of Wisconsin was the go to person.

My question to Milwaukee area Dems - when will you start to stand on your own two feet, do what is right for the majority of your constituents and not depend on union front groups Citizen Action Wisconsin and Wisconsin Jobs Now to do your homework and bidding.
