Tony Abbott is the Prime Minister elect of Australia. He's the leader of the coalition Liberal-National. It seems that after six years of failed leadership the country has turned to a "Liberal."
Sometimes it depends on where or when you live to decipher what is meant by certain terms. I guess Liberal here in the states means something quite different then in Australia.
The elimination of the Carbon Tax
A 'Stop the boats' immigration policy
Refugees already processed will be given temporary visas
When in office he has consistently voted against relaxing laws on abortion, same-sex marriages and stem cell research.
By defeating the Labor Party, Mr. Abbott has said "From today I declare Australia is under new management and Australia is now open for business".
Sort of reminds me of what's going on here in Wisconsin.
