A Fee to Save Taxes

The Milwaukee Water Works is doing the fine citizens of said city a solid by increasing fees the next four years to accomplish two tasks.  The first is to put MWW on "a solid financial footing," and the second is to reduce the city's tax levy.

3%, 9%, 3% and 3% are the increases residents will have the pleasure of paying in each of next four years.

One day, politicians will realize that no matter which branch of government or which utility takes the money, it still comes out of the residents pocket.  You see, the citizens would also like to be on "solid financial footing."
