From the Wausau Daily Herald.
The office of state Senate Majority Leader Russ Decker called the Wausau Daily Herald last week to schedule a visit with our Editorial Board to discuss the state budget and other legislative priorities.
We said we'd be happy to meet with him and to let him speak directly with his constituents by live-streaming video of the meeting on our Web site.
Not so fast, his office said.
Decker doesn't do video.
Why? Why would the Senate majority leader -- who routinely appears on television, is interviewed on radio programs and speaks on the Senate floor before cameras -- balk at live video?
Well, his office explained, Decker is afraid some rascally blogger or special interest group out there would grab the video and use it to make fun of the esteemed lawmaker.
Will the lefty bloggers get after Sen Decker the way the pounced on former Sen Tom Reynolds for not wanting to "do video."

Will No Quarter report on this?
I doubt it. The article by the Wausau Daily News could be very telling about the new media and politics.
